A day-long ride by E-Bike along the wildest part of the First Cycle Route of the Alta Murgia National Park. Find yourself away from everyone and everything while in contact with nature and the traces of an ancient past.

An 8-hour cycling journey through the northern area of ​​the Alta Murgia National Park.

Discover ancient, isolated farmhouses in the wild steppe of the Murgia (JazzoTarantini) or hidden in ancient, oak woods (Jazzo del Demonio). Explore rural churches, where time seems to have frozen (ChiesettaNeviera di San Magno and the Taverna di Santa Teresa), and the Ancient Necropolis of San Magno. If you have some extra time and enough strength in your legs, you can take a trip with us to the Geosite of the Bauxite Quarries, whose red color tones will leave you breathless.

Useful tips to better enjoy your cycling adventure:

  • Dress in sportswear…avoid wearing jeans. They are very uncomfortable.
  • Equip yourself with a k-way and a spare t-shirt. You never know.
  • If you have cycling shorts, those with a padded seat, use them!
  • A good hat is suggested in order to protect your head from the strong sun.
  • Remember to bring a small backpack to carry water and a self-prepared snack.
  • Remember to bring a good supply of water, at least one liter.
  • A good pair of sunglasses can protect your eyes from the sun as well as the unpleasant inconvenience of bugs in your eyes as you are cycling around.
