Whether you choose to do this trek during the almond season (late August / September) or not, any period of the year is ideal for discovering this nature-packed corner, south of the Alta Murgia National Park.
Among the woods of Roverella and the open landscape of the Murgia plateau, your senses will be awakened by some of the many plant species that color and perfume this territory.
On the way, you will discover a jazzo, an ancient sheep shelter built with dry stone. At the end of your journey, you will be able to taste delicious, “Filippo Cea”almond-based products, which are picked, dried and elaborated according to the traditions of the local producers who have cultivated them for generations.
